What to do with baby birds?
I was trimming a tree earlier today and at the beginning i saw a bird fly away from it. i ignored it and kept going and near the end, i found a birds nest with two baby birds in it. the chicks are just growing feathers. and the way i trimmed the tree completely exposed the birds. so what am i supposed to do. i decided to tie down a branch which wasnt cut over the nest. my question is, will the birds' parents come back or should i take them home. the time is 5 15, and the sun is going down. replies please.
What bird is better? Lovebirds or Cockatoo?
My friend wants one of these, but she doesn't know which one. A cockatoo reminds her of her dead one, but she can get two lovebirds so she can use it to play with other birds. Which one??
The birds are flying into my bay window, what can I do to stop this?
Since the weather became nicer the birds are flying back. My window faces the north and I have 2 very large Christmas trees in the west northwest front of our window. I think they might be seeing a reflection of the trees. We've tried putting newspaper on the inside of the window but this didn't help.

hey i am looking for a parrot a smaller to medium sized bird, such as a lilac crowned amazon.something friendly social and OK for a family.... and not super loudany suggestions where is a good breeder or pet shop?when is the next bird show fair?good pet parrot?i have had birds before a violet naped lorie, and as a kid my home was full of parrots..ecaletus umbrella cockatoo dubble yellow head amazon. mexican red head. blue and gold maccaws several foul mother african greys, hords of annoying conures and evil love birds.my mom took in all the abused abandon and unwanted neglected birds in our area.so i have been around and cared for alot of birds parrots.
How do you bond with your bird?
Just a little question for everyone to answer, how do you strengthen the bond with your birds? Any fun past times?When I am outside studying, I take my Pi with me and she sits in the apple tree playing with the leaves and talking to the pigeons. I also take her out and she does dishes with me. She likes to watch me type on the computer. Sometimes she will climb down from my arm, and sit on the keyboard. Silly bird. But the cutest thing that she does is when she feels like it, a Hello, bursts from her little beak. she is not a good talker, infact all she knows is Hello, but she tries to mimic the way I say things.So how about your birds?oh no, I know Pis arent good talkers, no problem, just wondering about everyone here. brag about your birds
