Why do birds not use our feeder?
We put food on a slide its around 4" 5 inch high and 3" 2 square inch flat side we put wild bird food it has corn sunflower seeds peanuts and some tiny pellet stuffAnd since we do not know the species of the bird we put out some peanut butter some honey and pear but no bird or squirrel has touched it we even put a deep bowl of water so they can drink and batheThere are many many birds around but very few species they eat with our chickens and ignore the wild bird foodWhat can i do to attract them to it and also do squirrels eat and hunt chicken?
How to I get my birds eating fruit/veg?
My lovebirds are 15 weeks and came from a pet shop where they only ate lovebird cockatiel mix. I think their diet is kinda bad because their poo is really green and one of them's is slightly runny. So, I went to the shop and bought them some vitamins they've eaten them no problem cos they look just like seeds , and some fruit veg. I gave them some brocoli and bread yesterday, they ate the bread but threw the brocoli on the floor. I've just given them some apple and carrot. The carrot is chopped small enough for them to eat, I also chopped the apple however I put a couple of bigger chunks in there which they could peck at if they want. They've been standing over it smelling it and staring at it for half an hour so I think they like the look of it but haven't been brave enough to eat any yet...how do I get them to eat fruit veg? I want them to have a better diet than just seed mix, and I know that they aren't used to being given fresh food but I want them to try it before they get stuck in the habit of never eating it...

My roommate is obsessed with birds, and I want to find silhouettes of birds as decals for the wall.Does anyone know where I can find these?
