Is it bad to play bird sounds for a parakeet?
I just got a parakeet today, and we wanted to make it feel more comfortable, so we played some bird sounds from my radio for it. It chirped like it was talking for a bit, but I'm wondering if it is actually bad to play bird sounds for them. Almost like teasing them.

What kind of bird sounds like a car alarm and chirps at night and how can I get rid of it?!?
Almost every night, I hear a chirping noise that keeps me up and the chirping goes on for hours at a time. I saw a white bird flying around making this noise and watched it fly into the neighbor's palm tree. I think it was a barn owl but am not completely sure. How can I get rid of this thing? The bird that I saw had a white belly and was quite large. I don't believe there are any species of mockingbirds in the area that I live in.It's gotta be a nocturnal bird too.

My computer has rooster and bird sounds I can not figure how to shut them off?

What type of bird sounds like a ghost?
I live in Florida... and every night after 10 p.m. I hear some type of creature in my backyard. There are lots of trees and it sounds as if the 'creature' is in the trees. It howls approx. every 20 seconds throughout the entire night. The pitch goes from soft to loud to soft. I wish I could explain it better It really sounds like a ghost softly howling, " WoooooOOOO00OOOooooooo" I count along with the howling, and it lasts approx. 5 seconds each time . I originally thought it was an owl but after hearing recordings of owls online, it sounds nothing like an owl. Their 'howls' are quick and short. My roomie said a dove... again, too quick and short. Doves sound like 'Cooo Coooo'... this is much longer. Is this some type of bird? Ghost? XThanks guys... I looked up 'Screech owls' and that is most certainly it How CUTE It's the lower pitch male sound . I've never seen heard an owl before, hopefully he comes out to visit some day.

Hello, I have a 2001 Taurus that has bird sounds coming from engine area. What should I be looking for? Thanks?
I put on a new serpentine belt not to long ago, and thought maybe it was slipping. However the belt is tight. This just sounds sort of like a bird noise that increases with engine speed. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what this is?The power steering pump squeals a bit in turns but the level is full. Could that have something to do with it. Thanks for any helpI appreciate all the info. How will I know though if it's the belt tensioner or the idler pulley? Anyway to tell the difference?because when the engine is running, it's hard to differintiate between themI sprayed lubricant on the idler pulley as suggested, and it's still noisy. It isn't tapping or rattling or clicking sound, it sounds more like a bird chirping. Any suggestions of what to do now? Thanks very much

Letting my parakeet out and bird sounds
I just bought a parakeet and I was just wondering when I can let her out. I have had her for about a week and she is getting a little used to my hand she still wont let me come close to touching her. But I hate to see her cooped up in the cage all of the time. i know it takes time to train but when you had your parakeet how long was it before you let her out??Also, will it mess up her training if I bought a cd of parakeets talking. She loves to hear other birds but I odn't want it to mess up her training.Well and i got her wings clipped when I first got her which was last week. She can't fly too well.

Can someone tell me what breed this bird sounds like?
I was at petco, and there was this small round bird, 100% pink and she was a little chunky. Her feathers were ruffled in the front.
