What is the best trainable small bird you can keep as a pet?
There has been a bird i've been thinking about but i don't know the name. It is rainbow and it is mostly yellow. it is red at the top then as it goes down it is orange then a lot of yellow then green and purple at the ends of the tail. it is about 6 to 7 inches including the tail. It is trainable but it is hard to train it so if someone could answer that to that would be great.

My new bird just started with a bad habit?
Hi everyone I got a Blue Winged Macaw Illiger's Macaw about a week ago cost me a bomb and he was really friendly and loving when i got him but over the last couple of days when I pick him up he goes onto my shoulders and then starts attacking my ear neck and then tries biting me when I go to get him down. He also tries to bite me while he is roaming free on my desk. At the moment i present the back of the hand and give him a firm no until he stop trying to bite me, if he does manage to get his beak around something I don't pull back as im trying to show him im the leader of the flock. If he cant get a grip he sometimes aggressively rubs beats his beak against me. Extra infoHis diet hasn't changedHe is could be a sheHe will be 5 months old tomorrow 19th He also seems to of got aggressive with other things such as food and objectsAs im typing this hes been doing some sort of head BobSince I got him he has only been in his cage at nights and for a few hours a day the rest of the time he is free to climb aroundHe has had his wings clippedThe only other thing i can think of is he was around an aggressive african grey last weekend, is it possible he may of picked up some bad habits?Any advice tips would be greatThanks for answers so far. Just like to point out he is an illiger's macaw which are not very large.
What bird species can I mix in the same cage as a cockatiel?
My female cockatiel is about 2 3months old, her personality is well .. interesting. She loves affection, to be pet on the head and back and lots and lots of kisses, but when she's had enough, she'll tell me with a very annoying squaking noise and crap. Then she goes away. She only pecks when I smother her not literally . What kind of bird other that a cockatiel will be best to be her cage mate? I have her out for at least 4 hours every afternoon..Prefferably a bird that eats the same kind of food. ie lovebird.. but not, I bred them for five years and one of them tore out another one's eye.. in an avairy wtf? I can't get another cockatiel because.. jeez they're expensive

one of my cock budgies i think could have scaly face but im not sure so ill tell you what i can see and see if any of you can help.like under his beak he has like a layer of skin which is attached just under his beak but when u lift up the skin it really smells bad the layer of skin though has feathers growing from it and one of his eyes have a little like Circle round them were theres no feathers but its been like this for weeks and nothings changed i have had to take it out of the avery due to the other birds were trying to fight it. also he keeps shutting his eyes i don't know if hes sleeping or not can any one help me find out what to do ill be giving the top rating for the best answer
