Do parrots and other exotic birds poop right on you if you are holding them?
I know it sounds silly but I don't think I could ever own an animal that poops on me without notice. Do macaws, vons de eplitus SP , cockatoos, and other big birds like this just poop on you if you are holding them on the couch or if they are sitting on your shoulder? I know caring for these birds involves lots of affection just as any other but what about feeding and things like that? Are they high maintenance?I would love to have a bird but I dont think I could own something that would just shit on me without warning. All birds just shite without warning? How often do they shit?

No a long time I didn't know peacocks were also domestic birds, I've noticed some farms have them on their property. Also, a few people on ebay sell the eggs for incubating. I've also noticed some folks selling swans too...anyone own a peacock or any other exotic bird?I'm not looking to get one myself I was just curious, cause I know that pheasants which are related to peacocks are domestic.

The last week or so there has been a bird coming to my backyard and landing on my 5 year old maple tree. There is nothing wrong with that it's just the bird is nothing like I've seen before. Besides the tail, it shows all characteristics of a whale. It looks about 30 pounds and it has a rather large wingspan. I do not get any sleep at night because this exotic bird emits a loud disturbing moan about every 10 15 minutes. I'm not good at recognizing birds so can somebody please help? Thanks. Dan
