Pulses are not suitable for small birds but will be eaten by larger birds such as Pigeons, Doves, and Game birds

I am not familiar with pulses. I feed them chicken scratch feed and wild bird seed mix. Each variety of bird can choose what they need. We have bears here so I spread the feed on my driveway each day, only what they will eat that day.

I don't understand what your question means, however, I can help you to attract wildbirds to your yard. Black oil sunflower seeds are a favorite of many birds. You can also put out a wildbird seed mix, which will also attract the most birds. Foods you can feed the wildbirds are mainly hulled raw peanuts or shelled unsalted, corn on the cob, and fruits (oranges, cherries, grapes, and berries are a favorite of many wildbirds). Some wildbirds like mealworms, such as robins, wrens, woodpeckers, and bluebirds. Always keep a water source available near the food. Wildbird enjoy bathing and need to drink water year-round. Happy bird feeding!

Just to clarify for the folks that are not in the EU, pulses are a variety of dried beans, lentils and peas that are used for animal feed. Some of the more common pulses are beans like kidney, navy, pinto, and fava....peas like split, blackeye and white...and red and green lentils. Some of these pulses are eaten by certain birds, so it really depends on the type of pulse and the type of birds that are in your area. However, one type of bird that will eat most of the smaller pulses is the Rock Dove aka Pigeon. I'm not so sure about the beans, but I know that they love dried peas and lentils.
